About the project

The store on Avenida da Liberdade is structured around a bespoke display system conceived as the primary architectural element of the interior.

A sequence of suspended brass frames with marble shelves defines the exhibition field against a natural stone backdrop and carefully calibrated lighting. This system establishes rhythm, depth and a controlled perception of transparency, allowing the product to be read with precision while shaping the spatial experience.

Undulating rosewood surfaces envelop the interior, introducing formal continuity and contrasting with the linear precision of the brass structures. Curved planes and cylindrical elements organise circulation and bring fluidity to the spatial sequence, articulating material density and structural lightness without compromising clarity.

As in all André Ópticas projects, the display system is never replicated. Each store is conceived as a unique response to its proportions, light conditions and urban context, ensuring that the exhibition structure operates simultaneously as functional infrastructure and architectural character.
