The first project developed for Oculista Central da Graça is structured around the construction of a strong spatial unity.
The interior is defined by a continuous layer of MDF panels, whose variable stereotomy organises walls and display surfaces as a single enveloping plane. This strategy allows the space to be perceived as a continuous surface, reducing fragmentation and reinforcing overall coherence.
The white terrazzo floor operates as a large reflective plane, amplifying both natural and artificial light throughout the store and intensifying the perception of continuity.
The display system is designed to ensure maximum exhibition capacity without compromising the unified reading of the interior. The units are formed from a single acrylic element that, repeated in different positions, generates a honeycomb structure. This modular logic enables both quantity and continuity, creating a display surface that is complex yet systematic.
The laboratory is conceived as an autonomous glazed volume. Its transparency establishes a dialogue with the dense MDF layer, introducing lightness while preserving the overall unity of the space.

Primeiro projecto desenvolvido para o Oculista Central da Graça, a intervenção parte da construção de uma forte unidade espacial.
O interior é definido por um revestimento contínuo em painéis de MDF, cuja estereotomia variável estrutura paredes e superfícies expositivas como uma única camada envolvente. Esta solução permite que o espaço seja percebido como uma superfície contínua, reduzindo a fragmentação e reforçando a coerência do conjunto.
O pavimento em terrazzo branco funciona como um grande plano reflector, expandindo a luz natural e artificial por toda a área da loja e intensificando a percepção de continuidade.
O sistema expositivo é desenvolvido para garantir a máxima capacidade de exposição sem comprometer a leitura unificada do espaço. As unidades são formadas por um único elemento em acrílico que, repetido em diferentes posições, gera uma estrutura alveolar. Esta lógica modular permite simultaneamente quantidade e continuidade, criando uma superfície expositiva complexa mas sistemática.
O laboratório é concebido como um volume envidraçado autónomo. A sua transparência introduz um contraponto à densidade das superfícies opacas, mantendo a unidade do sistema sem quebrar a sua lógica construtiva.
