Refurbishment and renovation project of a rural tourism hotel at Quinta da Foz, in Foz do Arelho.
The hotel occupies a 16th-century manor house. The intervention was carried out with a surgical approach, focusing primarily on the renovation of bathrooms, the recovery of existing architectural elements, and the improvement of comfort conditions.
Underfloor heating systems were introduced, wall insulation was reinforced, and new window frames were installed, ensuring improved thermal performance while preserving the building’s original architectural character.

Projecto de reabilitação e renovação de um hotel de turismo rural na Quinta da Foz, na Foz do Arelho.
O hotel ocupa uma casa senhorial do século XVI. A intervenção foi conduzida de forma cirúrgica, incidindo sobretudo na renovação das instalações sanitárias, na recuperação de elementos construtivos existentes e na melhoria das condições de conforto.
Foram introduzidos sistemas de pavimento radiante, reforçado o isolamento térmico das paredes e substituídas as caixilharias, garantindo um desempenho mais eficiente do edifício, mantendo a integridade da sua expressão arquitectónica original.
