Project for a small eco-hotel in Sesimbra, within the Arrábida landscape. The built volumes are dispersed across the site in order to dissipate mass and establish a continuous sequence of movement through the terrain.
The implantation of each structure was carefully defined following an extensive analysis of the site’s topography, exposure, vegetation and views. The project seeks to adapt to the land rather than impose a singular gesture.
The buildings are conceived through an open spatial logic, visually extending towards the surrounding landscape and reinforcing the relationship between interior and exterior.
Environmental concerns inform all components of the hotel. Recycled materials, the use of local timber, rainwater harvesting systems and low-impact heating solutions are integrated as intrinsic parts of the architectural strategy.

Projecto de um pequeno eco-hotel em Sesimbra, inserido na paisagem da Arrábida. Os volumes construídos dispersam-se pelo terreno de forma a dissipar a massa edificada e, simultaneamente, estabelecer uma sequência contínua de percurso através da topografia.
A implantação de cada construção foi cuidadosamente definida após uma análise extensa das condições do lugar — topografia, exposição solar, vegetação e enquadramentos visuais. O projecto procura adaptar-se ao território, evitando um gesto único e dominante.
As construções são determinadas por uma lógica espacial aberta, prolongando visualmente os interiores para a paisagem envolvente e reforçando a relação entre dentro e fora.
A preocupação ambiental informa todas as componentes do hotel. Materiais reciclados, utilização de madeiras locais, sistemas de recolha de águas pluviais e soluções de aquecimento de baixo impacto integram-se como parte estrutural da estratégia arquitectónica.
