The project proposes the continuity of the restaurant’s interior
space into the public domain of the city. The intervention is
structured around the creation of a covered terrace,
understood as a direct extension of the restaurant onto the
paved square.
The new exterior structure takes the form of a timber pergola,
defined by a system of curved columns supporting a shading
grid. This device creates a permeable overhead plane, providing
solar protection without obstructing natural light or visual
relationships with the surrounding urban fabric.
Inside, the material strategy maintains a logic of continuity.
Vertical timber slats line walls and ceilings, contributing to
acoustic comfort and spatial definition.
The selective introduction of planted surfaces and a controlled
lighting system reinforces the continuity between interior and
exterior, consolidating a unified atmosphere in which
architecture, use and public space are articulated without
rupture.

O projeto propõe a continuidade do espaço interior do
restaurante para o domínio público da cidade. A intervenção
estrutura-se a partir da criação de uma esplanada coberta,
entendida como prolongamento direto do restaurante sobre a
praça.
A nova estrutura exterior materializa-se numa pérgola em
madeira, definida por um sistema de pilares curvos que
sustentam uma grelha de ensombramento. Este dispositivo
constrói um plano superior permeável, garantindo proteção
solar sem interromper a entrada de luz natural nem a relação
visual com o contexto urbano envolvente.
No interior, a estratégia material mantém uma lógica de
continuidade. O revestimento em ripas verticais de madeira
organiza paredes e tetos, contribuindo para o conforto acústico
e para a definição espacial.
A introdução pontual de planos de vegetação e um sistema de
iluminação controlado reforçam a unidade entre interior e
exterior, consolidando uma atmosfera contínua onde
arquitetura, uso e espaço público se articulam sem ruptura.
